AUGUST 10, 2022_ FRAN B. AND I VISITED THIS CORNER AND FOUND A 2-1/2" IRON PIPE AT THE CORNER WITH THE TOP SMASHED. I FOUND 2 OF RUSCH'S TIES IN GOOD CONDITION. OCTOBER 5, 2022 FRAN B AND I RETURNED TO THIS CORNER AFTER A PAVING PROJECT AND FOUND THE IRON PIPE HAD BEEN REMOVED DURING ROAD CONSTRUCTION. I FOUND THE 2 PREVIOUS TIES AND USING SAID TIES AND PRIOR MEASUREMENT I SET A SURVEY MARK NAIL AT THE PREVIOUS CORNER LOCATION. THE CORNER FALLS 6.5' WEST AND 5.5' NORTH OF CENTERLINE INTERSECTION. The monument set by surveyor Laurence W. Murphy was found, along with three of his four witness Irons, per his 1984 tie sheet. Existing ties were remeasured and a fourth tie set to comply with A—E7 regulations. No other position was indicated or found for this corner. (c) In the plan view drawing below, provide reference ties to at least 4 witness monuments. (witness monuments shall be made of concrete, natural stone, iron or other equally durable material.) Describe witness monuments. Show the discrepancy on the plan view drawing under (d), above. Show th4 distances between the corner as previously restored or reestablished and (1) the corner as restored or reestablished, and (2) to at least 2 of the witness monuments shown on the drawing in (d), above. Government notes from the 1847 survey of the Third Parallel by Henry Wiltse returned 40 chain distanaces through Section 34. Notes from the 1853 subdivision of T30N, R16W, by John Ryan, returned falling distances which were used to calculate the following results. We measure west about 1999.9' to a found monument at the NW Corner of Section 4, T30N, R16W, and an additional 614.6', more or less, to the found monument at the SW Corner of said Section 34. The Government falling distance was 628.98. We measure east about 658.7' to a found monument at the N1 /4 Corner of said Section 4, and another 2066.4', more or less, to the monumented SE Corner of said Section 34. There is also a bend of over 1.5 degrees at said N1 /4 Corner, which line should be straight. The Government distances were 2012.01' and 627' respectively. (f) Was the corner restored through acceptance of (1) an obliterated evidence location, or, (2) a found perpetuated location? (2) A found perpetuated location. (gbh) Was the corner reestablished through lost comer proportionate methods? if so, show the method, including the directions and distances to other public land survey comers used as evidence or used for proportioning in determining the corner location? Excavation may be necessary and is„ s t ronb.ly recommended.. 1" IRON PIPES WERE RECOVERED AT THE SOUTHEAST AND SOUTHWEST CORNERS OF SECTION 34 A CEMETERY EXISTS TO THE NORTHEAST OF THIS CORNER, I USED THE DESCRIBED EAST/WEST DISTANCE OFF. OF THE. MAST EASTERLY LINE OF THIS. CEMETERY WHICH IS FENCED AND HAS. EXISTED FOR A GREAT NUMBER OF YEARS TO GOVERN THE 'EAST/WEST POSITION OF THIS CORNER. THE CORNER IS SET ON LINE BETWEEN THE SOUTHEAST AND SOUTHWEST CORNERS OF THIS SEC— TION. NO ORIGINAL EVIDENCE WAS RECOVERED f .
