(d) Describe any record evidence, occupational evidence, testimonial evidence or any other material evidence you considered, and whether the monument was found or placed. As part of a regular maintenance program, the entire township tie file was researched to find record of monuments previously set. All ties are scheduled to be upgraded to A—E7 standards regarding witness iron numbers. In addition, any monuments in danger of being disturbed for any reason or needing immediate attention are upgraded. (e) Describe any material discrepancy between the location of the corner as restored or reestablished and the location of that corner as previously restored or reestablished by distance and direction. Show the discrepancy on the plan view- drawing under (d), above. Show the distances between the corner as previously restored or reestablished and (1) the corner as restored or reestablished, and (2) to at least 2 of the witness monuments shown on the drawing in (d), above. This corner was not set with the 1853 Town subdivision by John Ryan. Originally I had accepted existing occupation to the south to position the monument on the senior line of Section 35—T31N, R16W. Messrs. Johnson and Canaday used occupation interior in Section 3 to determine a position about 13.7' east and on the Senior line. My ties are revised accordingly. The S1/4 Corner of Section 35 T31 N, R16W was previously set by single proportion, with each 1 /2 mile being about 4.3' short. The actual falling of the N1 /4 Corner is about 28.1' short of the computed original position; the NW Corner of Section 3 is about 28.8' short of Government; and the total mile is about 20.2' longer than Government. (j Was the comer restored through acceptance of (1) an obliterated evidence location, or. (2) a found perpetuated location? Ties are for a P.K. nail set by two other surveyors, Ronald Johnson and Bradley Canaday, based on obliterated evidence location. (g&h) Was the corner reestablished through lost corner proportionate methods? If no, show the method, Including the directions and distances to other public land survey comers used as evidence or used for proportioning in determining the comer location? No. (1) i, James E.
