As part of a regular maintenance program, the entire township tie file was researched to find record of monuments previously set. All ties are scheduled to be upgraded to A--E7 standards regarding witness iron numbers. In addition, any monuments in danger of being disturbed for any reason or needing immediate attention are upgraded. (e) Describe any material discrepancy between the location of the corner as restored or reestablished and the location of that corner as previously restored or reestablished by distance and direction. Show the discrepancy on the plan view drawing under (d). above. Show the distances between the comer as previously restored or reestablished and (1) the corner as restored or reestablished, and (2) to at least 2 of the witness monuments shown on the drawing in (d). above. To my knowledge there is no discrepancy. The Monument appeared to be the intended corner monument. No additional measurements were made to adjacent PLSS corners for comparison with Government notes. The found position was witnessed. After construction, a Berntsen "SURVEY MARK" nail was set using witness irons previously set from monument. (f) Was the corner restored through acceptance of (1) an obliterated evidence location, or, (2) a found perpetuated location? (2) A found perpetuated location. (g&h) Was the comer reestablished through lost comer proportionate methods? If so, show the method, including the directions and distances to other public land survey comers used as evidence or used for proportioning to determining the corner location? No. (i) i, James E.
