BACKGROUND INFORMATION
On October 4, 2022, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors approved Ordinance 902(2022),
rezoning land from R-1 Residential Zoning District to the C-2 Commercial Zoning District. The
rezoning was for Austin and Ronelle Oehme regarding 7.0 acres of land in the Town of Cylon
(see location map).
All of the background information, ordinance title, staff report, and public hearing notice placed
in the agenda packet material correctly labeled the rezoning request as rezoning from the R-1
Residential Zoning District to the C-2 Commercial Zoning District.
However, the body of Ordinance No. 902(2022) read.......(rezoning) from R-1 Residential Zoning
District to R-2 Residential Zoning District."
The CORRECTED ORDINANCE for Committee and Board of Supervisors action, now
reads........(rezoning) from R-1 Residential Zoning District to C-2 Commercial District" as shown
below.

1 The St. Croix County Board of Supervisors does hereby ordain as follows:

3 The St. Croix County Code of Ordinances, Land Use and Development, for the County of St.
4 Croix, Wisconsin, is hereby amended by rezoning the following property:

6 Lot 1, Certified Survey Map, Volume 28, Page 6375, St. Croix County, Wisconsin.

8 From R-1 Residential Zoning District to C-2 Commercial Zoning District.

10 The official zoning map of the Town of Cylon on file in the Community Development
11 Department shall be amended in accordance with this ordinance. This ordinance shall be
12 effective upon passage and publication as provided in Wis. Stat. § 59.14. This ordinance shall
13 not be codified.
