BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Eugene Mullikin has applied to rezone 4.93 acres of land in the Town of Stanton from the Ag-1
Agricultural Zoning District to the R-1 Residential District and to rezone 0.11 acres from the R-1
Residential District to the Ag-1 Agricultural District.
A Class II notice was published in the Star Observer on January 5, 2023 and January 12, 2023,
establishing a public hearing on January 19, 2023 at 5:00 PM with the St. Croix County
Community Development Committee in the St. Croix County Government Center Board Room,
1101 Carmichael Road, Hudson, Wisconsin.

1 The St. Croix County Board of Supervisors does hereby ordain as follows:

3 The St. Croix County Code of Ordinances, Land Use and Development, for the County of St.
4 Croix, Wisconsin, is hereby amended by rezoning the following property:

6 A parcel of land located in part of the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 32, T31N, R17W, Town of
7 Stanton, St. Croix County, Wisconsin, described as follows:

9 Commencing at the north quarter corner of Section 32; thence, along the north line of the
10 northwest quarter of said Section, S 89' 43' 52" W a distance of 595.04 feet; thence S 00' 54' 34"
11 E for a distance of 697.93 feet to the southeast corner of Lot 2 of that Certified Survey Map
12 recorded in Volume 9 of said maps, on Page 2685, as Document No. 505565 in the office of the
13 Register of Deeds for St. Croix County and the Point of Beginning; Thence, S 00' 54' 34" E for a
14 distance of 185.48 feet; Thence, S 89' 37' 53" W for a distance of 687.28 feet; Thence, N 00' 54'
15 34" W for a distance of 837.95 feet; Thence, N 89' 37' 53" E for a distance of 137.25 feet;
16 Thence, S 00' 16' 08" E for a distance of 651.47 feet; thence N 89' 43' 52" E a distance of
17 557.32 feet to the point of beginning.
