WHEREA.-S St. Croix County has been associated with
Emergency Medical -ervices Council of Western Central 'ttisconsino ang,
WliFREA-'-' at, Croix County has worked closely with the current
Emergency Medical Services Councilt and recognizes the need for thil
type of orgatizationg and
off EREA5 6t® Croix County has a Public i'rotection Committee
which will also serve as the Emergency Vedica'L Service, and
I%HEREAS the Chairman of the kvblic Protection Committee,
(Emergency Medical Service) will appoint a member to serve as
St. Croix County representative on the Ten County Area Emergency
Medical Service Count of West Central Wiscons ino and
ViF REAS the Emergency Medical Service Council is fully
funded by the Robert �Ycod Johnson Foundation, and therefore, does
not obligate St. Croix County financially,
Now THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the St. Croix County
Board of Supervisorst in regular sessions endorses the Emergency
Medical Services Council of West Central i,�isconsin, and agrees to
give them our support to apply for additonal grants to plan and
implement an Emergency Medical Service System.
