Intent: SUPPORT SENATE BILL 95
Government(Provides for State Financing of new Local
programs mandated by
WHEREAS, the State frequently mandates programs to the various levels of
municipal government, and
WHEREAS, these mandated programs often must be financed by local property
taxes; and
makesWHEREAS, the State imposed municipal tax levy limitation law
difficult to place additional appropriations in the municipal budget; a
