DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY
1978 CONTRACTS
St. Croix County Department of Social Services
WHEREAS, Section 46.22 (4) (j) of the ',disconsin Statutes as
created by Section 94 of Chapter 333, Lags of 1973, requires that State
of Wisconsin and the County enter into a formal annual contract to enable
reimbursement to the County for program and administrative costs as set
forth in the contract; and
WIHEREAS , Section 59.01 of the '!i s consi n Statutes gives the
County the power to enter into such contracts; and
WHEREAS, Section 59.02 provides that the powers of the County
can only be exercised by the County Board of Supervisors or pursuant to a
resolution or ordinance adopted by that board; and
NOVI THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the St. Croix County Board
of Supervisors delegates its authority under Section 59.01 to the Social
Service Committee (WC), Agency Director, and to the Chairman of the County
Board, pursuant to Section 59.02 to enter into and execute a formal contract
under the provisions of Section 49.22 (4) (J) of the Wisconsin Statutes on
behalf of the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors.
