HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 1977 (78)RESOLUTION NO.� RESOLUTION APPROVING TOWN OF HUDSON ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS WHEREAS, pursuant to Wisconsin Statute 60.74(7) St. Croix County pro- cedurally is required to review town zoning ordinances or amendments presented to it for approval or disapproval; and WHEREAS, the Town of Hudson has submitted their recently enacted town zoning ordinance amendments- to St. Croix County for its approval or disapproval pursuant to said Section 60.74(7); and WHEREAS, The St. Croix County Comprehensive Planning, Zoning, and Parks Committee has -reviewed said town zoning ordinance amendments (attached herein), has compared them to the St. Croix County Zoning Ordinance, and does hereby recommend their approval by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors; and WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best interest of the residents of the Town of Hudson for such ordinance amendments to be approved by said County Board. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the Town.of Hudson Zoning Ordinance Amendments submitted to the County Board pursuant to Wisconsin Statute 60.74(7) are hereby approved by the County Board; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Clerk shall formally transmit notification of this approval to the Town Clerk of the Town of Hudson together with a certified copy of this resolution dated this date. r /. CROIX CO Ty, WISCONSTN An Ordinance Amending the Town Zoniiu Ordinance to change certain set -backs - to permit certain home occupations, to amend the 7onin::; Map to re- classi�y certain land and to permit certain - special exceptions. The Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Hucscr. is amended as follows: 1. Section 3.4.2 (d)(2) relating to sethacks from Class D (Town) highways is amended by substituting i33 in place of 100, and 100 in place of 67 in'the first sentence. 2. Section 2.5.6 relating to special exception uses in the Agricultural -Residential District is amended by adding at the end of the first sentence of sub -paragraph (a) of the second paragraph the words: Allowance of such a special exception under this paragraph or the preceding paragraphs of this Section 2.5.6 shall include the right to carry on a home occupation and maintain a professional office subject to all the limitations contained in paragraphs (j) and (k) of Section 2.3.1 relating to permitted uses in the residential di'strict. 3. The Zoning Map of the Town of Hudson is amended to re-classifying the South Half of the South Half of Section 28, Township 29 North, Range 19 West, from Aaricultural-Residential District to Commercial District. 4. The Zoning Map of the Town of Hudson is amended to re- classify from Residential District to Agricultural -Residential District: (a) All land presently zoned residential in that part of Section 12, Township 29 North, Range 20 West, lying Easterly of State Trunk Highway 35. (b) The North Half of the Northwest Quarter and the North- west Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 18, Township 29 North, Range 19 West. (c) The South Half and the South Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 7, Township 29 North, Range 19 West. (d) That portion of Section 13, Township 29 North, Range 20 West which lies in the Town of Hudson and North of Krattly Road. 5. Section 2.5.6 relating to Special Exception in the Agricultural -Residential District is amended by adding a new sentence reading as follows at the end of the first introductory paragraph: In the area zoned residential by the amendment passed April 18, 1977 and subsequently re -zoned Agricultural -Residential a special exception permit is hereby allowed for a single family dwelling and accessory building, including private garages and building clearly incidential to the residential use of the property. 0 6. Section 2.3.6 relating to special exceptions in the residential area is amended by adding a ne-& naragraph (d) reading as follows: (d) Wells, water storage tanks and water distribution systems for central water systems, and central septic systems servicing more than one piope_­v. 7. Section 2.5.6 relating to special exceptions in the Agricultural -Residential District is amende h adding at the end of paragraph (1) the words: Wells, water :�t-orage tanks and water distribution systems for central water systems, and central septice systems servicing more than one property. 8. Section 2.7.2 relating to special exceptions in the Commercial District by adding a new paragraph (c.! as follows: (c) Wells, water storage tanks and water distribution systems for, central water syste-ms and central septic systems servicing more than one property. This amendment shall be in force from and after its passage by the Town Board® approval by the County Board of St. Croix County and publication. Passed and approved this 22nd day of August r1977.
