MATTERS FROM THE FINANCE, BUDGET, BUILDING AND BOND COMMITTEE TO THE
PERSONNEL COMMITTEE®
Resolution # -
WHEREAS, present County Board Rule #2 states that .the
Finance, Budget, Building and Bond Committee must handle all
insurance matters for St® Croix County, and
WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee presently, pursuant
to County Board Rule #3(c) handles all labor negotiation matters
for St®- Croix County, and
VaNEREAS, during labor negotiations for the 1978 fiscal
year, the Personnel Committee has found it necessary to negotiate
.on the subject of group health insurance far county employees,
and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best interest of St® Croix
County to transfer the authority to handle all St® Croix County
group health insurance matters from the Finance, Budget, Building
and Bond Committee to the Personnel Committee,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board
of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that all St® Croix
County group health insurance matters be handled by the Personnel
Committee, and that all remaining insurance matters be handled by
the Finance, Budget, Building and Bond Committee, pursuant to
County .Board Rule #2,
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the.General Services Committee
is directed to amend the County Board Rules to reflect this specific
transfer of authority,
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk for St®
Croix County is hereby authorized to execute any and all written
agreements relating to St Croix County group health insurance
matters, at the direction of the Personnel Committee®
