Temporary Clerical Position in the Courthouse

Whereas, the County Treasurer '9 County Clerkp and other departments have
requested assistance in their offices to aid in the increased workload; and
Whereas, the full time clerical position in the Job Service Office has
been fully funded by the State,, thereby de -obligating the County; and
Whereas�k- the County Board has determined that approval of all new
positions must be solicited from the County Board; and.,
Whereas, at the request of the.County Board the Personnel Committee
reviews all posons as to their necessity in the County system;
Whereas, the Personnel Committee has fulfilled this responsibility and
recommends to the County Board creation of a temporary clerical full time
position (pay range I of the Courthouse Union Contract) with the individual
being utilited; 1) on a half-time basis for the County Clerk; 2) half-time
for the County Treasurer; and 3) a temporary fill-in if an emergency arises
in any other offices.
Now, therefore, be it resolved that the St. Croix County Board of Super- I
visors at their regular session held on January 17P 1978 approves the
creation of temporary full-time position for no more than six months,
at the end of which the position will be reviewed and determined as to
its permanency. I
