I
WHEREAS, recently, the County Clerk's Office has been given
additional duties and responsibilities by the County Board, to wit:
Farmland Preservation processing, overall additional duties for insurance
programs, additional payroll work and complete Council on Aging_ records=;:
and
WHEREAS, in Resolution #6 (78) the County Board created a new
half-time position in the County Clerk's Office for a period of not to
exceed six months, and
WHEREAS, a full-time position is presently needed in the County
Clerk's Office due to said increase in workloads, and
WHEREAS, surplus monies presently exist in the Job Service
budget in the amount of $10,000 that could be transferred to the County
Clerk's Office budget for said new position secured by former job service
clerk, and
WHEREAS, both the Personnel Committee and the Finance Committee
have met and reviewed respectively the creation of the said new position
and the transfer of funds from the Job Service budget to the County Clerk's
Office budget,.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of
Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that a new position involving
excess workloads, is hereby created in the County Clerk's Office, commenc-
ing immediately,
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that $10,000 be transferred from
the Job Service budget to the County Clerk's Office budget for the purpose
of fudning said new position.
