Tm CROIX COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, CETA fun ing Will terminate on August 31, 1978, for
Social Service Aide I position and on September 30, 1978, for a Typist I
position; and t
WHEREAS, both positions are vital and necessary to the operations
of the Department; an
WHEREAS,.the Social Services Committee reviewed both positions on
March 7, 1978, co eds'o ion of broth positions; and
® WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee reviewed both positions on March 21,
1978, and concur with the recommendation of the Social Service Committee; and
WHEREAS, funding is available for both positions through the 1978
Contract with the State of Wisconsin, and
WHEREAS, both positions are in the Union Bargaining Unit and will be
paid a salary in accordance with -the Union Contract; and
WHEREAS, The Wisconsin Merit Rule`P ® -10 requires that both positions
be filled through open competition; and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the S® Croix County Board of Supervisors
at their regular session to approve the absorption of both the Social Service
Aide I and Typist I positions when CETA funding terminates and to grant salary
in accordance with the 1978 Union Contract®
