Fourth Street, in'the City of Hudson, commonly known as the sheriff's
WHEREAS, St. Croix County presently does not require any rent from
the sheriff for said residence but does require him to live in,said
residence, and,
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has met concerning this matter and
recommends that the sheriff not be required to live in said res ence,

WHEREAS, the Finance Committee further recommends that in considera-
tion for the above, St. Croix County should increase the sheriff's
annual salary by $4,000.00, and,
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee further recommends that should the
sheriff desire to rent said residence,, the monthly rent shall be $250-00,
not including utilities and telephonep
. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of
Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the St. Croix County Sheriff
not be required to live in the residence located at-824-.Pourth Street,.and,
BE IT FUROM RESOLVED, that the salary of the St. Croix County
Sheriff be increased by $4,000.00 per year, and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED9 that should the sheriff desire to rent said
residence, the monthly rent shall be $250.00, not including utilities arg
telephone, and,
BE IT FMTHER RESOLvED9 that all matters covered by this resolution
take effect at the commencement of the next to of the St. Croix County
Sheriff.
