RESOLUTION REGARDING TRIAL CONTRACT BETWEEN ST. CROIX COUNTY AND THE
CITY OF RIVER FALLS FOR PURCHASE OF PLANNING SERVICES
WHEREAS, St. Croix County employs a Planner (and office) to perform
planning -related functions for the County Government as well as for com-
munities and townships within the County; and
WHEREAS, the City of River Falls has expressed interest in employing
said County Planner (and office) on a part-time trial basis for a specified
period of time (90 days. from approval by both parties of this contract);
and
WHEREAS, the City has agreed to support financially costs incurred
by the County in comformity to the table of costs outlined in the con-
tract in performance of specified planning functions; and
WHEREAS, at the end of the specified planning period, neither party
is obliged to continue, renegotiate, or re-enter into a contract to con-
tinue said working relationship,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of Super-
visors, in regular session, that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
authorizes representatives of the County to enter into said. contract with
the City of River Falls; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
authorize the County Comprehensive Planning, Zoning, and Parks Committee
to oversee such work and report back to the County Board near the end of
the 90 day period.
