RESOLUTION SUPPORTING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, St. Croix County has been an active supporter and partici-
pant in the West Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, St. Croix County desires to provide community development
assistance -to its municipalities and one way to do this is to make better
use of technical and financial assistance from various state and federal
agencies; and
WHEREAS, St. Croix County utilizes the servi.ces.of a West Central
Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission staff planner to assist in com-
munity development efforts; and
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board endorses the concept of coor-
dinating community assistance through one agency or program,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that St. Croix County concurs with and
endorses the West Central Wisconsin.Regional Planning Commission's Rural
Development Planning Program application as it fills -a need for the com-
munities in the county, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that St. Croix County intends to work with the
West Central Wisconsin Regional PlanningCommission and its county planners
to eliminate any duplication of effort in the planning assistance avail-
able for rural community ;development from various federal, state, and re-
gional agencies.
