-'°�-HEREAS, The "It. Croix County Board of Supervisors presently
meet in regular session during daytime hours thus creating certain
employment conflicts for the Supervisors and the public alike, and
WHEREAS, night sessions of the County Board of Supervisors
commencing at 6:00 p.m. and terminating at the end of business that
regular session would alleviate such problems caused by daytime
sessions, and
V 'HEREAS, night sessions would enable additional persons in each
district to run for Supervisor positions, and would also enable more
persons to attend sessions of the County Board of Supervisors, and
WHEREASt it is deemed to be in the best interests of the residents
of St® Croix County to maximize participation in county government,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the St® Croix County Board of
Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that regular County
Board of Supervisor sessions shall commence at 6:00 p.m. and shall
terminate at the end of business that regular session, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this change is to commence with
the :august 1978 session of the .County Board, and
BE IT FURThER RESOLVED that this change shall continue as follows.,

Amended to Read: Three night meetings per year and the night sessions to be
determined by County Board and to include any special meetings that are called.
