OF LIABILITY WITH LESLIE S-VvENSON AND THE WORKER'S COMPENSATION DIVISION

Resolution #
WHEREAS former County Highway Patrolman Leslie Swenson was
involved in a traffic; accident in 1973 while on duty, and while
employed by St. Croix County, and
WHEREAS, Leslie Swenson has attempted to return to work as
a Patrolman but decided in February 1978 that he was unable to do
so, after having worked his last day on August 3, 1977; and
WHEREAS, Swenson's disability has been verified by several
physicians, and
�;HEREAS, Leslie Swenson has applied for disability,benefits
from St. Croix Countv under Wisconsin Statutes o 66.191, through
the Worker's Compensation Division of the Department of Industry,
Labor and Human Relationsq and
WHEREAS, the issue of whether St® Croix County was insured
for such disability is undecided at present, and
WHEREAS, Eric J. Lundell, District Attorney, is presently
investigating all of these matters for St. Croix County,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the St® Croix County Board
of Supervisors, meetinL in regular® session, that Eric Lundell,
District Attorney, be given authority to enter into a stipulation
of liability with Leslie Swenson and the Worker's Compensatian

Division of the Department of Industry, Labor, and Human Relations,
should his investigation, concur with such a result®
