Resolution Pertaining to Creating the Positions of Chief
Radio Operator and Radio Dispatchers and Setting the Salaries
For These Positions
Whereas, the Emergency Communications Center is anticipated being in
operation by November 1, 1978; and,
Whereas, the Public Protection Committee has determined that the positions
of Chief Radio Operator and Radio Dispatcher should be created to start this
operation; and,
Whereas., it is necessary to establish salaries for the aforementioned
positions; and,
Whereas, the Personnel Committee has concured with the decision of
the Public Protection Committee that the aforementioned positions are ne-
cessary and salaries are to be established; and,
Now, therefore be it resolved, by the St® Croix County Board of
Supervisors that the classification of Chief Radio Operator be established
with a salary range of $13,500 - $16,000 per year, dependent on experience;
and,
Be it further resolved, that the classification of Radio Dispatcher be
established with a salary range of $9,000 - $12,000 per year, dependent
on experience.
