(2) For the maintenance of County Trunk System the sum of Two
Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars ($2809000.00).
(3) Rustic Roads, Thirty Thousand Dollars ($309000-00).
(4) For Administrations, including salarieso, per diem,, office and
travel expense of the County Highway Committees, the County Highway
Commissionerg his clerks and assistants not paid from construction or
rawaintenance fundsp the sum of Eighty -Five Thousand Dollars ($859000000),

SECTION IV. WHEREAS appropriations are made herein, in addition to
the amounts to be received from the State and available for work in
County under Section 20.395 of the Statutes.
BE IT RESOLVED that the County Board does hereby levy a tax on all
of the property in the county to meet such appropriation as follows:
(1) For the various purposes as set -forth in Section III hereof
the sum of One Milliong Sixty Thousand Dollars ($190609000.00).
WARNING: it is directed that provision for this levy shall be made
in the county budgetq but that this levy shall not be duplicated.
SECTION V. T�JHEREEAS the I various highway activities for which provision
is made in this resolution are continuous from year to ear, and the exact
cost of any work cannot be known at the time of making he appropriation
therefors
BE IT RESOLVED.that this Board does hereby direct that any balance
remaining in any appropriation for a specific highway improvement after
the same shall have been completed may be used by the County Highway
Committee to make up any deficit that may occur in any other improvemen],
which is part of the same item in the County Lylget, for which provisior'
is herein made, and any balances remai-nT—ng at the end of the ye-ar in an
-highway fund shall remain and be available for the same purpose in'the
ensuing year.
SECTION VI. WHEREAS the exact amount of the funds that will become
mailable from the state for highway purposes in the county under
Section 20.393 of the statutes will not be known until on or after
June 30, 1979®

SECTION VII. WHEREAS the County Highway Committee and the County

authority to employ, discharge, suspend, or reinstate such personnel
