Whereas the Cylon Marsh is a relatively improductive water 'owl
area: and
Whereas the Department of Natural Resources has easment:s to
manare the wetlands: and
Whereas excavatinu_ ponds would make the area more attractive
and productive for waterfowl:: and
areas the measure has already been approved as an RC & U
measure and an environmental assesment statement has been made:
Therefore be it resolved that the St. Croix County Soil and
Water Conservation District Supervisors recorwLend that the St.
Croix County Board of Supervisors approve this resolution making
it possible for the St. Croix County Alliance of Conservation
Clubs to cost -share in the construction of ponds in the Cylcn
Marsh
Action taken the lst day of March in 1979 at a rePular meeting
of the St. Croix County Soil and Water Conservation District.
