PERSONAL 'INFORMATION F��CTICES
WHEREAS., the operation of county goverment involves the acquisition
of personal information; and
WHEREAS, Senate Bill 107 would regulate the practices of acquiring re-
taining and disseminating such personal informmtion; and
WHEREAS, it is felt that various statues already.regulate the acquisition,,
retention and dissemination of such information and that additional regulations
are not necessary; and
WHEREAS, Senate Bill 107 includes a long list of procedures that are con-
sidered unnecessary and which will prove to be very costly®
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the St® Croix County Board of.Supervisorsq
that this Board go on record as being opposed to Senate Bill 107; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that our County Clerk forward copies of this
Resolution to Governor Dreyfus, State Senator Radosevich and State
Assemblyman Harer®
