DISPOSAL OF ABANDONED PROPERTY
WHEREAS; under current laws abandoned property must be disposed of at
a yearly public auction; and
re
.WHEFMS, Assembly Bill 179 would permit disposal by any means consided
to be in the best interest of the county; and
WHEREAS3 the St® Croix County Board feels this change in law could lead to
procedures that would not be open to public scrutinys and in the ends may not
be in the best interest of the countye
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED; by the St® Croix County Board of Supervisors.,
that this Board go on record as being opposed to the Assembly Bill 179; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED thatour County Clerk forward copies of this
Resolution to Governor Dreyfus, State Senator Radosevich and State Assemblyman
