I -- WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors, in 1973, adopted Resolution 26 to create the St. Croix County Council on Aging, consisting of ten (10) persons, three from the County Board and seven (7) at large from various areas of St. Croix County; and WHEREAS, through the past years the St. Croix County Council on Aging has been successful in developing several programs for senior citizens, such as nutrition, transportation, etc.; and WHEREAS, the present St. Croix County Council on Aging is organized to meet the assurance of compliance and Policy Statements of the Department of Health and Social Services, concerning the Departments development of the 1980 Aging Plan. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the St. Croix County Council on Aging designated as the County Aging Unit to be responsible for the development process plan for the County Aging Activities according to the BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the St. Croix County Council on Aging be the focal point for all aging matters in the County and coordinate its activities in compliance with the Area Agency on Aging Passed and Adopted this day of 1979.
