Resolution
IEREAS, Eric J. Lundell is, and was, an officer of St.
Croix County, at all times relevant to this resolution, and
} : Y g^®HEREAS, Eric J. Lundell was charged with an offense
against the State of `,isconsin, in.the Circuit Court for St®
Croix County, the acts upon which such charges were based
were performed while Eric J. Lundell was acting as and within
the scope of his. duties as an officer of St® Croix County, and
WHEREAS,these charges against Eric J. Lundell were dis-
missed by the Circuit Court for St® Croix County, after due
consideration and there are no charges now rending a`"inst him,
and
a+1HEREAS,Eric J. Lundell reasonably incurred attorneys fees
for representation in defending against these charges after the
A" 4' county or its insurers refused to provide legal representation,
and
MHEREAS, -said costs and attorney's fees amount to w5,C2�®44,
and
;dHEREAS, the provisions of Chapter 895.35 of the ,"isconsin
Statutes, provide authorizations for counties to reimburse its
officers for attorney's fees and costs so incurred®
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the St® Croix County Board
of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the county re-
imburse Eric J. Lundell for costs and attorney.'s fees in the
