Resolution
WHEREAS, Charles A® Grant is, and was, an officer of St.
Croix County, at all times relevant to this resolution, and
INHEREAS, Charles A'® Grant was charged with an offense
against the State of Wisconsin, in the Circuit Court for St®
Croix County, the'acts upon which such charges Were based were
.performed while Charles Grant was actingas and within the
scope of his duties as an officer of St® Croix County, and
41HEREAS, these charges against Charles.A® Grant .�;ere
dismissed by the Circuit Court for St® Croix County, after
-due consideration`and.there are no charges now pending against
him, and
WHEREAS, Charles A ®Grant reasonably incurred attorney's
fees for representation in defending against these charges
after the county or its insurers refused.to provide legal
representation; and
WHEREAS, said costs and attorney's fees amount to $2,802.01,

WHEREAS, the provisions of Chapter 895.35 of the Wisconsin
Statutes provide authorizations for counties to reimburse its
officers for attorney's fees.and costs so incurred®
'q* NOW THEREFORE BE IT.RESOLVED by the St Croix County Board
of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the County re®
imburse Charles A. Grant for costs and attorr_ey's.fees in the
- amount of $2,80200101
