BURIAL BENEFI'TS PAID BY SOCIAL SERCURITY.
Resolution.#
WHEREAS, Congress is now debating the issue of whether
or not they should eliminate the death benefits or burial
benefits that are presently being paid by Social Security, and
WHEREAS, elimination of said benefits would cause serious
financial burdens to be placed on certain surviving family
members,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County
Board of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the
County Board strongly recommends to Congress that it not
eliminate death benefits or burial benefits from present
Social Security legislation, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution
be - by Baldus.
