WHEREAS, the reform of the welfare system in our state and nation has been
the subject of a study by the Wisconsin Social Services Directors and Boards Mem-
bers Association, in conjunction with the Wisconsin County Boards Association, and
WHEREAS, said Association has set forth various proposals to reform the
welfare system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of St. Croix
County herein assembled, that they support the welfare reform recommendations set
forth by the Welfare Reform Committee of Wisconsin Social Services Directors and
Boards Members Association.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that specific emphasis be placed upon those programs
which can be dealt with by the Wisconsin Legislature.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be mailed to State
Senator Radosevich, Representative Barer, Senators Proxmire and, Nelson.
