ESTABLISHING COUNTY POLICY AS TO MEMBERSHIP OF FORMER
COUNTY BOARD SUPERVISORS UPON COMMITTEES AND BOARDS.
WHEREAS, the Wisconsin Attorney General has heretofore issued an
opinion which opinion provides in part that an individual who was
appointed to a committee while serving as a County Board Supervisor
ceases to be a member of such Committee or Board when he or she is
no longer a member of the County Board of Supervisors; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
to establish a policy that conforms to such opinion;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of Super-
visors, that it is the policy of the County of St. Croix Board of
Supervisors, that an individual who is appointed as a member of a
committee or board while serving as a County Board Supervisor, shall
at such time as he or she is no longer a member of the County Board
of Supervisors cease to be a member of any and all committees to
which he or she was appointed, regardless of the length of his or
her term on the committee or board to which he or she was appointed.
