WHEREAS, in May of 1978, at its regular session, the St. Croix County
Board of Supervisors approved a salary schedule for the St. Croix County
elected officials for the calendar year 1979 and 1980, and
WHEREAS, the elected officials for St. Croix County have met with the
Finance, Budget, Building, and Bond Committee for St. Croix County and have
requested an adjustment in the salary schedule, largely due to the changing
economic conditions since the salary schedule was formulated in 1978, and
WHEREAS, the Finance, Budget, Building, and Bond Committee recommends
to the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that each of its elected officials
be given a $1,000 adjustment for the calendar year 1980, retroactive to January
1, 1980,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors,
meeting in regular session, that the elected officials for St. Croix County
are hereby given a $1,000 adjustment over and above their 1980 salary as set
forth in the May 1978 Resolution, retroactive to January 1, 1980 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the $1,000 adjustment for each elected official
shall come from their department's 1980 budget wherever possible; however, if
not possible, then the $1,000 adjustment shall come from the General Fund for
St. Croix County.
