RESOLUTION DISSOLVING THE AG LAND ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND
CREATING THE RESOURCE.AND LAND USE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors created the
St. Croix County Farmland Preservation Advisory Committee in May, 1978
to oversee completion and adoption, of the St. Croix County Farmland
Preservation Plan, and
WHEREAS, the Farmland Preservation Plan has been completed and
adopted by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors; and
WHEREAS, the County Comprehensive Planning, Zoning and Parks
Committee has determined there is a need for a committee to advise it on
land use issues;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the St. Croix County Farmland
Preservation Advisory Committee is dissolved and the St. Croix County
Resource and Land Use Advisory Committee be created to advise the Compre-
hensive Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee on Land Use Issues, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the St. Croix County Resource and
Land Use Advisory Committee consist of twenty (20) members to be recommended
by the Comprehensive Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee to serve a
term of one year- without pay or expenses.
