Klanderman DATE: January 11, 2005 COPIES TO:County Clerk News Media /Notice Board Committee Members St. Croix County Traffic Safety Commission meeting was held January 19, 2005 at the Sheriff's Department in Hudson at 1:30PM. Present were: Charles Grant, Brian Erickson, Jack Colvard, Buzz Marzolf, Brent Pickard, Greg Helgeson, Dennis Johnson, Tim Ramberg, Miles Wittig, Bryce Omann, Pam Dabruzzi and Bob Klanderman. Meeting was called to order by Chairman Klanderman. Motion to adopt the agenda made, seconded and approved. Motion to accept minutes of October 20, 2005 was made and approved. UNFINISHED BUSINESS NEW BUSINESS Discussion held reference I94 and Hwy. 65 interchange. In 2008 DOT is planning resurfacing and at that time some updating will be done. In spring of 2005 all way stops and rumble strips will be put in as a temporary measure until 2008. Mr. Helgeson discussed the Hwy. 35 and Hanley Rd. roundabouts that are going to be constructed in the spring of 2005. Mr. Omann of Ayres Associates gave a presentation on how they are putting together a public campaign to educate people on roundabouts. ANNOUNCEMENTS Mr. Johnson stated so far this year there has been 28 fatalities statewide. In 2004 at this time there were 48. Mr. Johnson discussed the programs the state is putting together for 2005 grants. ADJOURNMENT Meeting adjourned at 2:21PM. Respectfully submitted, Pam Dabruzzi
