A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH THE SALARY AGREEMENTS BETWEEN
THE COUNTY OF ST. CROIX AND ST. CROIX COUNTY COURTHOUSE
EMPLOYEES LOCAL 576-B AFSCME DATED JANUARY 1, 1981.
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Board of the County of St.
Croix as follows:
Section 1. St. Croix County Courthouse Employees Local 576-B,
AFSCME, for the year January 1, 1981 through December 31, 1981 are
hereby adopted;
That a copy of said amendments to the Agreement is attached
hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference as though
fully set forth herein.
Section 2. That all resglutions or parts of resolutions
contravening the provisions of"this Resolution are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That if any part or parts of this Resolution are
invalid, it shall not invalidate the entire Resolution.
Section 4. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and publication, and all wages and
benefits shall be paid in accordance with said amendments to the
Agreement from January 1, 1981.
This Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the
County Board of the County.of St. Croix held this, 10th day of
March, 1981.
Passed and adopted this day of 24M-4 , 1981.

Summary of 1981 Settlement
Only those articles which were amended in the 1981 negotiations are listed.
Article III - SENIORITY, LAYOFFS, PROMOTIONS
A. Revise Section 1 to reflect that Employees shall receive credit for part-
time -work when classified as Part-time I employees (20 hours or more per week).
This credit shall be prorated for 35 hour per week employees based on 1820 hours
per year and custodial based on 2080 hours per year, The credit is for longevity,
vacation and seniority purposes.
Article VI - SICK LEAVE
Change Section l to reflect employees can accumulate sick leave days to a maximum
of eighty four (84) days.
'Article XI - COMPENSATION .
Revise.Section 2 to reflect the County Agreement to pay ninety five dollars
($95.00) per month towards the health insurance premium for 1981,
Article XVI - DURATION
A. Revise Section l to reflect the Agreement effective dates of January 1, 1981
through December 31, 1981.
B. Revise Section 2, Step 1 to reflect the Union presenting its bargaining
request by September 15th.
C. Delete Section 3 which refers to the 1980 reopener items.
SCHEDULE A - WAGES
A. Reclassify the Register in Probate position to Pay Range Three,
B. Add a new classification of Medical Secretary to Pay Range Three.
Reclassify the Administrative Secretary, Public Health Nursing Office
to Medical Secretary.
C. Revise Schedule A - WAGES by increasing all classification steps by
eight and one half percent (812%) across the Board as follows:
