"REDUCTION OF GENERAL SANITARIAN STAFF"
WHEREAS, tourism is the third leading industry in Wisconsin, and
WHEREAS, St. Croix County provides substantial fishing, hunting and
trapping, canoeing", cross country skiing and snowmobiling,
and other healthful opportunities to enjoy the nature's
..beauty for neighboring counties and for tourists, and
WHEREAS; licensure, inspection, enforcement of rules regarding
public pools, mobile home parks, recreational and
educational campgrounds and necessary for health of
:
residents and visitors tortthecounty and
WHEREAS, lack of continuity in rules and regulations from County to
County will create confusion and maybe even ill -will,
BE IT RESOLVED, that St. Croix County Board of Supervisors go on record
as objecting to the�Bureau of Environmental Health, Wisconsin
Division of Health's recommendation to abolish the general
sanitarians in the State.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Bureau of Environmental Health be
requested to reconsider its recommendation and find means
to continue this program statewide.
