WHEREAS, on June 8, 1981, the Finance Committee of the St. Croix County
Board of Supervisors, together with the Library Board and the Special Building
Committee, opened bids for space needs for the St. Croix County Library, and
WHEREAS, said bids were authorized previously by the same committees, as
evidenced by Attachment "A", incorporated herein by reference, and
WHEREAS, the bid of the Hammond Development Corporation is considered by
these committees to be the most desirous for St. Croix County and the County

Library and these committees furthermore recommend to the County Board of
Supervisors that the Board approve this bid, as evidenced by Attachment "B",
incorporated herein by reference, and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors,
meeting in regular session, that the bid of the Hammond Development Corporation
is accepted in the amount of $4.74 per square .foot per year, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said bid figure of $4.74 includes all utilities
and miscellaneous mentioned in the fourth paragraph of Attachment "B", and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Chairman and the County Clerk are
hereby authorized to execute a 3 year lease with the Hammond Development Corpora-
tion, effective December 1, 1981, so long as it is specifically mentioned in said
lease that St. Croix County is not obligated to continue with said lease after
the expiration of the said 3 year term.
