HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 1981 (32)RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH THE SALARY AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF ST. CROIX AND ST. CROIX COUNTY SOCIAL SERVICES EMPLOYEES LOCAL 662, INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF TEAMSTERS, DATED JANUARY 1, 1981. BE IT RESOLVED by the County Board of the County of St. Croix as follows: Section 1. That the amendments to the Agreement between the Personnel Committee of the County of St. Croix and St. Croix County Social Services Employees Local 662, International Brotherhood of Teamsters, for the year January 1, 1981 through December 31, 1981 are hereby adopted; That a copy of said amendments to the Agreement is attached hereto as Ap- pendix "A"and incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth herein. Section 2. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions contravening the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. Section 3. That if any part or parts of this Resolution are invalid, it shall not invalidate the entire Resolution. Section 4. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication, and all wages and benefits shall be paid in accordance with said amendments to the Agreement from January 1, 1981. This Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the County Board of the County of .St. Croix, held this 13th day of October, 1981. Passed and adopted this 13th day of October, 1981. An employee who. has served his/her probationary period shall be granted funeral leave with pay, not to exceed eight (8) hours com- pensation per. day, for a period not to exceed three (3) days, for time .lost due to a death in the employee's immediate family as defined herein in the "Schedule for Funeral Leave" - Paragraph C. Paid funeral leave shall commence the day following the death of employee's immediate relative and shall end on the day of the funeral, but in no event will more than three (3) days be paid, and only for those days employee lost work and not for those days an employee is not required to report for work. Payment for funeral leave is subject to the following: 1. Employee must attend the funeral 2. Funeral leave.pay will not be paid if employee is. on vacation; not working due to illness; leave of absence for any reason; layoff; or any other non -work status, at the time of the death of the relative. 3. Employee may be requested to substantiate his/her claim for funeral leave.' 4. Only one paid leave shall be granted in the event of multiple deaths occuring during the same period, B An employee will be granted one (1.) day fiineral leave to attend the.funeral of other relatives as outlined in "Schedule for Funeral Leave" - Paragraph C.
