RESOLUTION NO. -81
RESOLUTION RENEWING TERM OF LAND USE AND RESOURCE CITIZENS ADVISORY. COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors created the
St. Croix County Land Use and Resource Citizens Advisory Committee in
June, 1980, for a term of one year, to advise the Comprehensive Planning,
Zoning and Parks Committee on land use issues; and
WHEREAS, the Land Use and Resource Citizens Advisory Committee
has played an active role insponsoringland use related educational
programs for county residents, students and officials; and
WHEREAS, the combination of an increasing populationwith a
limited amount of land and natural resources insures continued.land use
pressures; and
WHEREAS, the County Comprehensive Planning, Zoning and Parks
Committee has determined there is a need for a committee to advise it on
land use issues;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the term of the St. Croix
County Land Use and Resource Citizens Advisory Committee be extended for
two years, to advise the Comprehensive Planning, -Zoning and Parks
Committee and the Agriculture and Extension Committee on land use issues;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the St. Croix County Land Use and
Resource Citizen Advisory Committee consist of twenty (20) memberschosen
by the Comprehensive Planning Zoning and Parks Committee to serve a term
of two years without pay or expenses.
