RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE ST. CROIX COUNTY SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors recognized that,
disposal of solid waste is a challenge that must be dealt with, and
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors directed the
St. Croix County Planning, Zoning, and Parks Committee to undertake
an initial solid waste disposal study, and
WHEREAS the St. Croix `County Board of Supervisors, the County
Planning, Zoning, and Parks Committee hired a consultant to prepare
the initial study in conjunction with the County Planning Office, and
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Solid Waste Advisory Committee and the
St. Croix County Planning, Zoning, and Parks Committee have
endorsed the plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of
Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that. the. St. Croix County*
Solid Waste Disposal Plan be adopted, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution and the plan
be forwarded to the State.
