MAP OF SURVEY LOCATED IN GOVERNMENT LOT 3 OF SECTION 35, T30N, R20W, TOWN OF ST. JOSEPH, ST. CROIX COUNTY, WISCONSIN; BEING LOT 6 OF CERTIFIED SURVEY MAP RECORDED IN VOLUME 1, PAGE 134 AS DOC. NO. 327548 IN THE ST. CROIX COUNTY REGISTER OF DEEDS. DESCRIPTION: Lot 6 of that Certified Survey Map recorded in Volume 1, Page 134 as Doc. No. 327548 in the St. Croix County Register of Deeds. Said lot is located in Government Lot 3 of Section 35, T30N, R20W, Town of St. Joseph, St. Croix County, Wisconsin. Said lot contains approximately 107,802 square feet (2.47 acres) to the ordinary high water mark of Lake St. Croix. EVA CORNER, SEC. 35 (ALUM. CAP FND, SURVEYOR'S CERTIFICATE: I, Joseph W. Granberg, Professional Land Surveyor, hereby certify that under the direction of Kevin Adkins and Sara Sommerfeld, I have surveyed, mapped and described the lands shown hereon in accordance with official records and chapter A-E 7 of the Wisconsin Statutes and this map and description are correct representation of that survey. Section corners shown hereon have been found and verified with ties of record and published St. Croix County coordinates. Field work completed April 12, 2023. NOTE: Most of the original monumentation for this lot was found. There is some differences in the distances between the found markers and the distances given on the original Certified Survey Map. The bearing difference is from a different bearing reference. The original map was an assumed bearing reference the this map is based on current St. Croix County coordinates. The markers found on the hillsides appear to have been slumping downhill. The original map was completed 48 years ago and it's not surphsing that there has been a migration of soil down the hill over the years. Another noteworthy comment is that at the time the original markers were set, they would have had to use a chain to measure down over the bluff. This type of terrain introduces error into the measuring process.
