DESIGNATING THE HUDSON STAR OBSERVER
ST. CROIX COUNTY NEWSPAPER.
AS THE OFFICIAL
WHEREAS, The County of St. Croix has observed the practice of disclosure
of actions of the County Board by publishing reports of its proceedings in
divers newspapers of the County, and
WHEREAS, The County of St. Croix expresses its desire to continue to do so,
and,
WHEREAS The County of St. Croix has deemed it desirable to designate a
newspaper pursuant to Chapters 985.05 (1), and 985.03 of the Wisconsin
Statutes as -its official newspaper, and
WHEREAS, The New Richmond News has been the official newspaper for St. Croix
County for the period of July 1, 1979 through June 30, 1981; and
WHEREAS, The Hudson Star Observer has expressed a desire to once again
be the official news paper for St. Croix County;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED That the Hudson Star Observer, a newspaper published
weekly at Hudson, Wisconsin, be designated the Official Newspaper for St. Croix
County for the period of April 1, 1982 thru March 31, 1984.
