Resolution
WHEREAS, school district cost controls would be abolished under the pro-
visions of SB 438; and
WHEREAS, these cost controls are similar to tax levy limits for counties
and municipalities; and
WHEREAS; since this Board supports tax levy limits, it also supports
the continuation of school district cost controls.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors,
that this Board go on record as being opposed to SB 438; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be forwarded by the
County Clerk to Governor Dreyfus, Assemblyman Harer, and State Senator Harsdorf.
