RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE SINGLE AUDIT CONCEPT WHEREAS, most counties are now undergoing several audits each year for the same or similar programs; some audits being done 2 or 3 years after the fact; and WHEREAS, these duplicate audits result in additional administrative time being spent on the part of county officials and increased costly delays in knowing the financial status of different departments; and WHEREAS, the Wisconsin County Boards Association can be influential in bringing about the needed changes of the single audit concept. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors goes on record requesting that the Wisconsin County Boards Association actively promote the implementation of a single audit concept in the State of Wisconsin. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be sent to the Executive Director of the Wisconsin.
