(Emergency Resolution)
AUTHORIZING THE POSITION OF EDP COORDINATOR
WHEREAS St. Croix County is preparing to initiate computerized
services throughout the County and
WHEREAS the complexities of computer operations require the
constant monitoring by an electronic data processing professional
and
WHEREAS the County's computer consultant has advised that an EDP
Coordinator be hired before the final installation of the computer
hardware and
WHEREAS the Finance Committee has reviewed all materials related to
this process, as directed by the County Board, and determined that
the EDP Coordinator position is a vital part of the computer center
operations,
AND WHEREAS the Personnel Committee has reviewed the attached job
description and salary schedule and determined it to be accurate
and adequate,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of
Supervisors meeting in regular session that the position of EDP
Coordinator be created according to the job responsibilities
and requirements set forth in the job description, "Attachment A"
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Personnel Office be authorized to
begin immediate recruitment for the position,
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the expenses for this position be
taken out of the the General Fund, from funds previously earmarked
for the purpose of computer initiation in St. Croix County.
