AMENDED RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING COMMITTEE CHANGE FOR SUBJECT OF AMBULANCE
SUBSIDIES
Resolution
WHEREAS, presently the Highway Committee of the St. Croix County Board

of Supervisors annually studies the matter of ambulance subsidies to the
various ambulance providers that serve St. Croix County residents; and
WHEREAS, the issue of which committee or board would be most appropriate
to study the matter of ambulance subsidies has been considered by the General
Services Committee; and
WHEREAS, the General Services Committee and the Public Protection Committee
have concluded that the Public Protection Committee should be the committee
directly responsible for the annual matter of ambulance subsidies; and
WHEREAS, said committees further recommend that the Emergency Services
Committee should provide input to the Public Protection Committee on the matter
of ambulance subsidies and specifically on the matter of the annual ambulance
subsidies budget.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED_°that, effective immediately, the matter of
ambulance subsidies to ambulance providers serving residents of St. Croix County
shall be the responsibility:df-::the Public Protection Committee,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Emergency Services Committee shall provide
input to the Public Protection Committee on the matter of ambulance subsidies
and specifically on the matter of the apual ambulance subsidies budget.
