WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Farm recently has incurred several
unusual expenditures for operating expenses for the crop year 1983, in-
cluding cash for lime, seed, fertilizer, and equipment overhaul, and
WHEREAS, as a result of these unusual expenditures, the St. Croix
County Farm is presently experiencing a cash deficit, and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of St. Croix County to transfer --
sufficient funds from the General Fund to the County Farm Operating Fund
so that such cash deficit is reconciled,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of Super-
visors, meeting in regular session, that the sum of $25,000 be transferred
from the St. Croix County General Fund to the County Farm Operating Fund in
order to cover the existing cash deficit, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said transfer be accomplished immediately
upon passage of this resolution.
