RESOLUTION NO. -9�3 ( ?J)
WHEREAS, the state is constantly mandating that counties and
municipalities provide additional services; and
WHEREAS, these mandates generally result in increased costs for
the counties and municipalities; and
WHEREAS, it is felt that, if the state is going to mandate
additional services, the state should be required to reimburse each
county and municipality for all increased costs; and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of Senate Bill 310, the state
would annually reimburse counties and municipalities for municipal
costs mandated by the state if the mandate results in a net increase
in cost to the county or municipality.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of
Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the St. Croix County
Board of Supervisors go on record as supporting Senate Bill 310; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be forward-
ed by the County Clerk to each member of the Wisconsin Legislature
serving St. Croix County,
