The permit application was received on April 27, 2023 and the application completed on June 9, 2023, with the submittal of the updated stormwater plan. Staff has completed the review on June 26, 2023, and found the following: • The project address is located in the Lower St Croix Overlay Distrct and General Shoreland Overlay District. • The project area is outside the required 40-foot setback of the nvenvard top -of -bluff. • The impervious surface includes 3,679 square feet in area. • The project is outside the 300-foot setback of the Shoreland Overlay Zone. Based on these findings, approval of the Land Use Permit is subject to the following conditions: 1. The project shall be completed in accordance to the submitted site plan obtained by Staff on June 9, 2023 2. There shall not be any other aleterations made to the property other that what is approved by this permit and other previously approved permits. 3. The stormwater basin needs to be eitherl8'x18'at W in depth OR 16'x16'at 22" in depth to accommodate the 1 Y rainfaill event for the 3,679 square feet of impervious surface 4. Silt fence shall be installed at the permeter of the the construction area and all silt fence installed on the riverward side shall be installed with a second perimeter 6 feet from the first installation of silt fencing. 5. Inlets for the infiltration trench serving as stormwater treatment for the home shall have inlet protection. 6. A Preconstruction meeting shall be scheduled with Staff prior to the commencement of construction. 7. A mid -construction meeting shall be scheduled with Staff to inspect the stormwater BMP's on -site. & A post -construction meeting shall be scheduled with Staff once the construction is complete Jared Wehner I Land Use Planner Ijamd.wehner@sccwi.gov I Dir. (715) 386-4742 9. The final inspection shall be scheduled with Staff once the vegetation is established and the threat of erosion has been minimized. 10. The best management practices and the stormwater retention area shall be constructed/installed to standards required by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources <external link>. 11. A stormwater maintence affidavit shall be filed with the Register of Deeds This approval is subject to the conditions listed above; it does not allow for any additional construction, structures, or buildings beyond the limits of this request Your information will remain on file at the St. Croix County Community Development Department suite. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with any other local, state, or federal permitting or regulations, including contacting the Town of Troy to inquire if additional permissions are required. This permit is valid for one year, with the possibility of up to two (2) six-month extensions if the applicant submits the appropriate permit extension fee and documentation to the Zoning Administrator. A copy of the Land Use Permit placard should be submitted to the local Building Inspector for the Town upon application for the building permit. The orange placard must be posted on thejobsite and visible from public view. The pool area is within the buildable space that was provided for all setbacks. The house is currently under construction and pool install to be completed in timing with the house construction upon approval. Pool is 20 x 44 with landscape option shown.
