DISCUSS RESOURCE & EDUCATION COMMITTEE STRUCTURE — PARKS AND
PARKS DEPARTMENT
Committee discussed Parks under the Resource and Education Committee and reconfirmed
their position of the committee structure. As stated in the LWCC minutes of January 6,
2004, the committee felt that the current committees' structure is working fine. The
committee expanded on their reasons of no fiscal advantage and that it spreads the workload
to allow supervisors to become more involved. Discussed that the LWCC will be meeting
with the Administration Committee on February 3 to discuss this issue.
Discussed the arrangement of department reports, such as U.W. Extension will now be
meeting in the morning with Parks following their report; and LWCC will meet in the
afternoon.
Berenschot made motion to close the meeting at 10:50 a.m., seconded by Bethke, carried.
