Committee agreed with the concept of adding new responsibilities to the Secretary's job description and supported the rationale and requested that this job description be moved forward to the Personnel Department to be evaluated. Committee discussed the County Parks Operations Manager's job description. Heise provided the committee an updated version of the job description reflecting the current duties that are being conducted by the Operations Manager. Kathan commented that all job descriptions need to be reviewed periodically for accuracy; however, when considering an upgrade in a job description, the committee needs to weigh "significant changes" that have been performed within that job description. Discussion by committee. The committee agreed that the Parks Operations Manager's job description not be forwarded to the Personnel Department at this time and that the job description be reviewed over the next six months to review roles and responsibilities.
