ROLL CALL — Wentz, Erickson, Gunderson Also in attendance: Robole, Whiting, Speer ACTION ON PREVIOUS MINUTES: The minutes of the May 5, 2004 meeting were approved. NEW BUSINESS: 1. Final Change Order #5: This final change order addressed the summary of change orders previously approved and called for in letters from Dell Construction to Ayres & Associates of June 20 and July 6 of 2004. The change orders had been reviewed and approved by Ayres. Motion by Gunderson, second by Erickson to approve Change Order #5. Motion passed unanimously. 2. Final Payment Request: Dell Construction has submitted to Ayres its final payment request in the amount of $88,078.90. Ayres has reviewed and recommends approval. Motion by Erickson, second by Gunderson to approve this final payment request. Motion passed unanimously. 3. Review of Overall Project Closure: Whiting presented the projects final costs, pending a final payment request from Ayres for their services. Overall the project saw cost overruns in building and construction of $22,982.97. The architects' fees exceeded the budget by $17,233.34, or the amount required by contract for their reimbursable expenses. Furnishings were under budget by $2,5391.51, and contingency /miscellaneous costs were under budget by $53,820. Overall the project was under budget by $16,143.20. The Committee reviewed the figures and the corresponding borrowing and Jail Assessment funds that were used in the project. The Committee discussed its overall experience with the project and agreed to meet one more time after the September 21 County Board meeting to respond to a customer satisfaction survey of Ayres.
